In loving memory of Barbara Lynn Schwartzberg,
I am saddened for your loss, Barbara was a special person who will not be forgotten. We met in H.S. and became such good friends along with Terry it was the 3 of us. Barbara actually pierced my ears 60 years ago that’s something I’ll never forget. We stayed in touch through the years and recently reconnected when she moved to PA. Always thought we would get together one more time.
That’s one regret I have.

62 years of a wonderful friendship and many happy memories. We laughed together and we cried together. We loved the same movies and books. We loved sharing recipes. Barbara was a great cook and baker. There wasn't anything she could not sew, knit or crochet. She made beautiful outfits for my two great granddaughters, she was a true master of the art. She taught me how to crochet my first baby blanket. I remember when we both lived in Glendale, Myrtle Avenue was our favorite stomping ground pushing our baby carriages down the street in the warm weather. When winter came and we could not leave our homes we still stayed connected via telephone. As soon as Barbara put Lisa in for a nap and I put my kids in for a nap we were on the phone watching our soap operas. We were like mailmen, no rain, snow or sleet would keep us from spending time together even if it was only on the telephone. Truthfully though, this was how we kept our sanity. LOL
I love that the legacy of our friendship has been passed on to Lisa and my Deborah. Lisa and Deborah have been best friends literally since birth and going ever so strong to this day.
My heart is full of sadness at the loss of my very dear friend but I will also keep the joy in my heart just knowing that she was my friend for 62 years.
Until we meet again my friend.
Love Carol

I'm so glad to have been able to get together with you in July. The last time was at your 60th birthday party. So many years and so many memories. We celebrated your wedding and my wedding , drum corp competitions and babies. You have been a good friend and confidant. We lost touch for awhile but always remembered each others birthdays which we celebrated with a phone call. So me being me I'm not going to say good bye, but I will say see you later. Love ya Barabara we will always be friends and when we meet again we will be new friends.
Love Jackie.

I met Barbara and Ted when Jackie and I were dating. Jackie had Barbara in our wedding party. Jackie and Barbara met each other in dancing school when they were little girls. When I stated to write books, Barbara was so supportive and could not wait to read them. We last saw Barbara in July of last year. We had a lot of fun doing little things that will stay with me and Jackie. Barbara, tell Ted we said hi and save us a seat at the table while we are just waiting to be called while at the cocktail hour of life.

Barbara and Teddy were two of the most wonderful people I’ve known. They both were so supportive of Lisa and our entire softball team while at St. Pancras. My parents were always working and couldn’t attend our games but thankfully, the Schwartzbergs opened their home, car, and hearts to include me and others. I am grateful to have known them in my early years. May they both be resting in peace as Barbara is reunited with her love.
