Maryanne was the most efficient, competent, and caring professional for the Lakeland Central School District. As treasurer, she always went above and beyond to serve the faculty, staff, and students. As a friend, I will miss the laughter, banter, and stories. We shared so much through the years. Her presence will be missed by many. Rest in Peace dear friend!

A quick story of when I was staying with mom in 94 . Mom would drive me to Peekskill train station so I can get to my overnight job in Manhattan. One night we pull into the station the train is already there. I get out and run, but I’m too late The doors close the train pulls out . Now, what am I gonna do .I need that train to get to work on time. . I go back to the car. Mommy says get in. Mom gets on the highway hits. The gas, catches up to the train, passes the train and keeps on speeding down the highway. We Get to the next station. I kiss mom goodbye, now I’m standing on the platform waiting for the train to arrive. Happy ending. I got to work on time. thank you mom. I love you..

Share a memory… There are so many running through my mind right now. But one that always makes me laugh. Is when I was 12 years old and she wanted me to be Michael’s godmother (The church wanted you to be 14). I said to Cookie, “ You want me to lie to the priest?” Well, I don’t remember anyone questioning my age and I could never thank her enough for picking me. It was one of the greatest pleasures of my life. I am so glad she is now reunited with Michael. I love you both… xox
