Paul J. Stenger, Sr Trade Typographer 1937-2024 A quote from a man I don't remember as I was young" "Kid, your Dad is the best Linotype Operator in Manhattan" Thank you Dad for your example and giving me the drive to excel as a Typographer and Production Artist. My favorite memory is of you leaning over me with your arm on my right shoulder reading my coding language on the Quadex. Of course you would critique my codes and give your input. You know what Dad...I always listened! You're my mentor, my idol, my inspiration. Relax with Mom, I will carry the torch until we meet again to exchange "war stories" from the graphics production trenches. My love and respect always, say hi to Mom! Paul

Here's a picture of my Uncle Paul with sons, Paul Jr. and John on his lap and me in the forefront at a family picnic. I think I was probably 3 or 4 here and while I don't remember this occasion, I do remember countless other occasions our families got together for visits, dinner, birthdays and other celebrations. I have so many fond memories to look back on. I never realized how blessed I was. But I do, now. I truly is, a wonderful life, Thank you, Lord!

Dad, I cannot to begin to tell you how much I will miss you. You were a great father who worked hard so life could be better for us. I always looked up to you from the time I was a little boy and even now. It was a major loss for us when Mom passed away we were at a loss for our mother, but you lost your wife and love, you took it real hard. As you used to tell me how much you missed mom. I really did feel for you. With the good lords help you will see Mom again. That's one thing that brings me peace at this time. Dad I will miss you forever and think of you always. You made me who I am and I Love You for it. I have been praying to god to take care of you Dad. RIP, God Bless You, I Will Miss You, Love Your Son, John
