Obituary of Jeffrey John Onderlinde

Jeffrey John Onderlinde, 52 of Milford, PA passed away Monday, December 25, 2023, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes Barre, PA surrounded by his family. The son of Herbert Onderlinde and Lois Matthews, he was born September 4, 1971, in Shreveport, Louisianna.

Jeffrey was a proud United States Army Veteran having served from 1989 to 1994. During his time in the Army, he was in Operation Desert Storm and Operation Restore Hope.

Jeffrey leaves behind his mother Lois Matthews and stepfather Frank; two brothers Brian Onderlinde and his wife Cathy, Steven Matthews; his stepsister JoAnn Hooper and her husband Bill; his stepbrother Frank Matthews and his wife Susan; his nephew Jacob Onderlinde; his stepmom Candace Onderlinde; and aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Jeffrey was predeceased by his father, Herbert Onderlinde.

A memorial service will be held at the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 300 Broad Street, Milford, PA on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 11 AM with Rev. Benjamin Willis officiating.

Cremation will be private at the convenience of the family with final interment in Arlington National Cemetery.
