Obituary of Evangeline Kraker-Moureaux
Evangeline Sue Kraker-Moureaux (Eva) passed away on November 26, 2023 after a short illness. Eva was born on May 28, 1953 in Cheverly, Maryland to the parents of Leslie and Edith Henderson. Eva was the youngest of four daughters.
Eva grew up in Wykoff, NJ. Eva married her first husband, Stephen Kraker and moved to Milford, PA where they raised two sons, Jason and Kevin. While raising their children, Eva pursued her desire to go to college, and graduate with an Associate of Arts degree. Eva graduated from East Stroudsburg University with two degrees: a Bachelor of Science degree, plus a Master of Education degree.
In 2012 Eva married Keith Moureaux. Eva and Keith vacationed many times in Cape Cod and Williamsburg, VA. Eva also loved the Wayne County Fair. In 2015, Eva became a grandmother to Lincoln Kraker. Eva enjoyed attending anything that her grandson was a part of. Eva also had a love for animals, especially goats, horses, and her Jack Russell Terriers.
Eva is survived by her husband, Keith Moureaux of Milford, sons Jason Kraker of Sajima, Yokosuka, Japan, and Kevin Kraker of Milford, grandson Lincoln Kraker of Milford, sister Nancy Rone of Williamstown, NJ, high school friend Joan Weindorf, friend Parthy Patrick, and sister and brother-in-law Jack and Elaine Pheiff of Bethlehem. Eva was predeceased by sisters Phyllis Dunlap and Sonja Palmateer.
Memorial donations in Eva’s name may be made to a local Humane Society of donor’s choice.
A viewing will be held at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, PA on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 4 to 7 PM. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township, PA private at the convenience of the family.
