I have no words to express how deeply saddened I am to learn of Ann's passing. She was such a lovely human; always offering a gently smile and kind words whenever we would run into each other. We are all lucky to have shared the same time on earth with such a wonderful woman. Sending love and abundant prayers to Joe, Colleen, Jack, Shane, and all who loved Ann as you navigate through your new normal.

Mrs Fagan was how she was respectfully referred to by my children Katie and Luke; and they adored her and the relationship they had with her children. She had the warmest smile and engaging presence. She never let on to her fight to live but instead enjoyed each day and interaction with family and friends. God bless her and the disciple she was to those she touched!

My daughter Sofia was blessed to have been taught by Ann for both Pre-K and 1st Grade at Shohola Elementary. Mrs. Fagan played a crucial and formative role in her young life, as well as the lives of hundreds of other students throughout her career. What set her apart was that, whenever we would run into her at the grocery store or around town, years later, she would always greet us warmly and take care to inquire about Sofia’s progress, even recalling which grade she would now be in. Her untimely passing is not only a terrible loss to her loved ones but to the whole SES family. She was an exceptional teacher and human being and will be missed.

I worked with Ann when I was a teenager at Jugtown Mountain smokehouse. Ann found joy in just about everything. And she shared it. I always felt warmth, a good connection, and light in her presence. I’m sure the last few years were difficult for all her loved ones, but you were truly blessed to have Ann in your lives. I hope the warmth of those memories carries you through this difficult time. Merrill O’Brien.

For a long while now, Anne and I would go on weekend outings attending garage sales across the tristate area. I always found it funny that no sooner did Anne get back into my truck, that she was on her cell phone researching the items she purchased on the internet, to see what she could re-sell them for. She was so happy when she could buy an item for a $1 and resell it for $25.
I hope heaven has better deals at there garage sales.
I'll miss my garage sale partner.
