Obituary of Helen Eula Cron

It is with great sadness that the family of Helen Eula Cron reports her passing on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, New Jersey. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Before she retired, Helen worked as a school nurse for the Delaware Valley School District, was a member of the Milford Lions Club and had a passion for basket weaving. 

The daughter of the late Harold and Eula (Roder) Steiger, she was born on February 6, 1947, in Port Jervis, New York. She was married to Frederick W. Cron.

Helen is survived by her loving husband, Frederick W. Cron; son, William D. Cron; daughter, Heidi Held and grandchildren, Alex Cron, Sadie Watson, Ellen Held and John Held.

Friends may call at the Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford Street, Milford, Pennsylvania on Monday, May 22, 2023, from 4 to 6 PM.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, May 22, 2023, at 6 PM.

Interment will be held at the Delaware Cemetery, Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pike County Human Society,  P.O. Box 255, Milford, Pennsylvania 18337.
