So sorry to hear of Helen's passing. From being a nurse when I went to DV, she always remembered me every time we ran into each other. Such a sweet woman. My thoughts and prayers with Fred and the family

My deepest condolences to Helen’s entire family, especially Fred, Bill and Heidi. Helen was truly one of the best human beings I have ever known - a huge heart and she was akwa S there for everyone with a hug, a kind word or just one of her most memorable laughs! I know there are many, many school children that Helen helped and maybe even saved their lives. I would have been at your service Helen, but we were out of town. Helen will be truly missed by many. Until we meet again…..❤️

I want to extend my sincere wishes to Heidi and the entire family. I met Helen when I went to ESU with Heidi and when I needed a home away from home Helen”s door was always opened . She had such an uplifting smile and laugh . I am thankful I was able to get to know her . God bless, Nicole Smith

Helen was like a second mother to me during my teenage years. She always treated me with such kindness. Her laugh was infectious. I’ll always have a special place in my heart for her. My deepest sympathies to Fred, Billy, and Heidi. I hope the light she brought to your lives helps carry you through your loss.

Mrs. Cron was my confidant, my friend, my warden at times as well as my sometimes truant officer throughout my school years. She gave me a kick in the tush whenever I wanted to give up on myself and whatever I was trying to do. She never gave up on me and always believed in me. She taught me a lot about health as well as life. She could always make me laugh no matter what. I will always be grateful to her for everything that she did for me. I’ll also always be grateful to her for letting me avoid field day every year ! She was a beautiful, talented, kind, loving, funny, and tough when she needed to be woman and I was very blessed to have known her.
Sail on Mrs. C…each time I look up at the sky I’ll think of you and remember all of the wonderful talks we had about life and love.

Mom2, Nurse Helen Aunt Helen, HELEN!!!
All the names I knew her by…but honestly she was LOVE, REALITY, STRONG WILLED and once again cir le back around to MOM…at least for me!!!
Her light, her smile, her love, her fiercely protective energy…her honest to goodness pain in the arse attitude…made me love her more every time I came around.
I have so much more to say about Helen Cron, however this is the most important….she made me love myself! She told me it didn’t matter what my past was, it didn’t matter what I was taught about myself, it didn’t matter what anyone else said about me…I was perfect as I was, I was beautiful and loved! Thank you Helen, Aunt Helen, Nurse Helen, Mrs. Cron, Mom2…you will always be loved.

In all of my encounters with Helen, she was a warm, caring person. I am in Texas for a granddaughter’s high school graduation and regret that I cannot pay my respects in person. She cared about PASR (Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees), Condolences to Fred and the family.
