Obituary of Jeffrey Michael Griffith
It is with great sorrow that the family of Jeffrey Michael Griffith reports his passing on April 14, 2023, at the Gino J. Merli Veterans Center, Scranton, PA. Jeffrey was an Emergency Generator Technician for the Atlantic Detroit Diesel, Lodi, NJ, and a member of the Gung Ho Detachment Marine Corps League.
He was a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran, having served two tours during the Vietnam War.
Jeffrey was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and great uncle. He was an outdoorsman, enjoying his time caring for his yard, hunting, and fishing. He will be missed during the beach vacations with his family that he enjoyed so much.
The son of the late Ernest and Phyllis (Lindquist) Griffith, Jeffrey was born on November 18, 1947, in Staten Island, NY. He was married to Mary Beth (Jackson) Griffith for 46 years.
Jeffrey leaves behind his loving wife, Mary Beth Griffith; son, Stefan Griffith and his wife Bushrah Griffith; granddaughter, Brooke Griffith; sister, Pamela Sullivan; brother, Robin Griffith; several nieces, nephews as well as great nieces, and nephews.
Friends may call at the Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W Harford St., Milford, PA on Thursday, April 20, 2023, from 10 to 11 AM. Memorial services will follow 11 am at the funeral home with Rev. Keith Raser officiating with military honors.
