Obituary of Andreas Albrektsen

Andreas Albrektsen  82, of Lords Valley, PA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on December 23, 2022. Andreas was a talented wood carver, accomplished Chief Engineer and long time 42 year member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 94 and proudly served in both the Norwegian and US Armies. 

The son of the late Martin Albrektsen and Elizabeth (Hansen), he was born on February 6, 1940, in Farsund, Norway and was preceded in death by his twin brother, Arne. 

Andreas is survived by his devoted wife Dianne Lillian Albrektsen of (54 years of marriage), son Glenn Martin Albrektsen, and daughter-in law Carol Ann; daughter, Andrea Lynn Albrektsen; and two loving grandchildren, Connor Ryan and Kaitlyn Elizabeth. Andreas is survived by his younger brother Ernst Martin Albrektsen who lives in Tromoya Norway.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday December 28, 2022, from 10:00am to 2:00pm at The Church at Hemlock (98 Willow Dr., Lords Valley, PA 18428), followed by a service at 2:00pm at the church.

Burial will take place at the Milford Cemetery, Milford, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Church at Hemlock (98 Willow Dr., Lords Valley, PA 18428).
