Deepest Sympathies to the Albrektsen family. Andreas was a real gentleman, always happy, and boy could he fix anything.
It was an honor to work for him, and see his wisdom in action in NYC. The Durst Family thought very highly of him.
He was a great Viking that will be missed. He's probably already fixing things in heaven.
God Bless him, see you in Valhalla Norseman.

Heartfelt sympathies to Dianne and family. I have so many wonderful memories of this warm and gracious man. My Dad loved his cousin, and so did we all. I especially remember the funny stories he loved to tell….like the army tales when he visited us in Brooklyn while on leave… and oh how I always appreciated the stores about my father’s early years. But one conversation that sticks out in my mind was way back in 1970 as I was looking forward to my first trip to Norway. Dad and Andreas were talking about our trip plans when Andreas filled my with suggestions and then said to me “You’re going Home this summer, what a great time you will have!” What’s he talking about I thought? Home? I’m from Brooklyn…that’s home to me. Well after a week or so in Norway, I got it….this is where I am really from..where my ancestors are from…this is Home!…at least that’s what I felt then. But truth be told, as beautiful as Norway is (and it is), it’s not our Home. While to us it might be the closest thing to heaven on earth, it is not our Home. Thanks be to God for the life of this wonderful man and the kindness he showed so many including me. Thanks be to God for the great Hope that we have in Jesus..the promise that in a little while when we go Home to be with Him that we will see our loved ones again. May I be so bold as to suggest that as you grieve this time of separation that you hold tight to that Hope. It’s what will get us Home! - Love from Craig Martin Bjornsund
