Paul Goodrow was an amazing man. When he and Kathie married back in 1973, I remember thinking that Kathie was getting a man that loved her in a way that she so deserved. Life would shortly deal them a card that no parent ever wants dealt. From that tragedy, they unselfishly changed the lives of their children and the children that would become future Goodrows. Kathie and Paul were a force together. Paul was Kathie’s everything and I know he will watch over her and the kids and grandkids that he loved so much. Rest easy Paul.

For those of you who haven’t heard the story about how my Dad wanted to be waked (there can’t be many because he told everyone). He wanted to be naked packed in ice with beers lining the casket. He said that each person that came to pay their respects should grab a beer and have a drink. Then when all is said and done we should roll him over and kiss his ass good-bye. When he was told this wasn’t realistic he said “ yeah you’re probably right, but when I die you’ll think of this and it’ll be a good laugh”. ALWAYS GOOD FOR A LAUGH!!! ❤️

Well I had not actually heard that story so I guess I was one of the few! and he was right it was good for a laugh :-). I miss you Paul rest in peace.

I have heard that story a time or two. I told him I would bring an opener, but I wasn't going to kiss his hairy ass.
