Obituary of Margaret Arcarola

Margaret (Kupcho) Arcarola, 101, of Milford, PA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on February 25, 2022. She shared a strong sense of faith and was a devout member of the St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Milford, PA.

 

She will be remembered for her love of family, cooking and proficiency of sewing, (often handling sewing needs for her family and friends), her ready sense of humor, and for being a longtime fan of the NY Yankees.

 

The daughter of the late Andrew and Theresa (Pacolak) Kupcho, she was born on October 16, 1920, in Duryea, PA.

 

Margaret leaves behind her children, Andrea Arcarola, Matthew Arcarola and his wife Eileen, Joan Arcarola, Elaine Sarcuni, Nancy Arcarola and Janet Paccione and her husband Mark; grandchildren, Christine and her husband Kirk Griffin, Josh Arcarola, Alisha Arcarola, Lorne Arcarola Ross, Jennifer and her husband Paul Conway, Miacarla Lerda, Damian and his wife Liezel Sarcuni, Justin Paccione, Joseph Arcarola and  great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Griffin, Jake Griffin, Julia Elaine Conway and Nicholas Sarcuni.

 

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew Arcarola; daughter, Margaret Arcarola and grandson, Matthew Arcarola.

 

Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W. Harford St., Milford, PA on Thursday, March 3, 2022, from 10 AM to 12:30 PM. 

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 111 E High St, Milford, PA 1 PM on Thursday, March 3, 2022, with Rev. Joseph Manarchuck officiating.

 

Burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Port Jervis, NY. 

 

Memorial donations may be made to St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 111 E High St, Milford, PA 18337.
