Obituary of James Anthony DeVoe

James Anthony DeVoe, (Jim) 62, of Greeley, PA passed away at home on January 30, 2022 after a courageous battle with Melanoma. He was a Service Technician for Toshiba,  Newburgh NY for many years. Jim was known for his quick wit and always making the room radiate with his sense of humor.   He was a avid fan of the NY Yankees and NY Giants. 

The son of Malcolm Edgar and Lillian (Kubran) DeVoe, he was born on August 25, 1959, in Nyack, NY. He was married to Roxanne (Cornish) DeVoe.

Jim was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.  He cherished his family more than anything. 

Jim leaves behind his loving wife, Roxanne; children, James A. DeVoe Jr, Kristi A. Bowers and her husband Jesse, Kelli M. DeVoe and Michael E. DeVoe; grandchildren, Carolina Lynelle DeVoe, Cecelia Marie Bowers and Jack Nicholas Freethy; siblings; Malcolm R. (Rick) DeVoe and his wife Luz, Kathleen M. Hekl and her husband Peter, and Thomas C.  DeVoe and his wife Diane and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W Harford St, Milford, PA on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 2 to 6 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 10 AM with Rev. Keith Raser officiating. Burial will follow at German Hill Cemetery, Shohola, PA.
