To Mrs. Devoe and family, My deepest and sincerest condolences to you and your children over the loss of your husband, Jim. Jim came to our office at the local school in Port Jervis quite frequently, always with a smile on his face. We were all shocked to hear of his passing. He had been in my prayers since he told me of his illness. A donation has been made in His Memory to the Melanoma Research Foundation and I will continue to keep your family in my prayers. I met Jim 11 years ago when I worked at Monticello school. He was always happy and nice to talk to. I had the pleasure of meeting him again when I went to work at Tri-Valley. I was so glad to have known him, even for such a short while. Truly a wonderful, caring man, who will be greatly missed.

Me, Jim, Rick degroat, Stu rylander,driving to Phoenix in 77-78.we did it in 60 hours,on 58 dollars in gas and oil…in a vw..we made our way to our singular path..Jim, helped me the most…when we parted ways,we never lost our connection.Jim helped me big time…he let me move in , then I got a solid job that paid the rent in one week!jim graduated from deVry, and moved back east…I reconnected with Jim not more than a few months ago…glad idid..the memories are still vivid.,,

Jim was one of the nicest persons I have had the pleasure to meet and even more fortunate to work with. Always willing to assist where he was needed Jim's knowledge and experience shined in his interactions with everyone he supported and the relationships he developed with them.
