There are not enough kind words to say about my Aunt Peggy. She had such a sweet, kind and caring heart. I have such fond memories of her from my childhood when we were lucky enough to get to see the Maher family. She was such a lovely lady.
Although we will miss her greatly, there is a better place up there…and there she is laughing again with Uncle Charlie.
We are so sorry for your loss Barbara, Joe, Ruth and Kjartan. Remember how much joy you brought to her life.

Our Aunt Peggy was such a lovely person on the inside and the outside. She was always so kind and gracious. She travelled South to all our weddings and was there for us at our grandmother’s funeral. She’s also the reason I know so much about Elvis. I’m so sorry for Barbara, Ruth, and Kjarten’s loss, but I’m happy that she’s reunited with our beloved Uncle Charlie. She set an example for a life well lived.

The pleasure of Peggy's company was regrettably too brief and rare. As her niece, I grew up many miles away for regular visits, but the occasions we spent time together were a treasure. Unfailingly kind at every turn, and so funny that when you left her you carried a piece of her joy with you - and isn't that a special gift? I will always remember her beautiful smile accompanied by that almost mischievous twinkle in her eyes. Her depth of character and love for her family was boundless.
My condolences to Barbara, Ruth, Kjartan and the rest of her family, I will certainly mourn the loss of time I could have spent in her loving and beautiful presence.
Love to you all,
Kelly Maher

Peggy was such a warm, loving person. I feel lucky to have known her and always enjoyed our talks and time spent together. She was an amazing cook and I've co-opted some of her recipes (especially the pumpkin pie one) that are now a tradition to be passed down in my family too. God bless Peggy. I hope she'll give Charlie a hug from me in Heaven.

Beautiful lady….inside and out. This photo was taken at the bowling alley. Peggy and Charlie were the first folks who warmly welcomed Bobby and I into the community. Through her, I joined our bowling group. We shared much laughter throughout the years. Tears too. Had the kindest soul. She was proud of her family and couldn’t do enough for them. She’s now with her beloved Charlie and without earthly pain. We all miss her, but her spirit will forever live in our hearts.
Love & Prayers,
Barbara & Bobby

Peggy was my friend. Friends are special and she was a special friend. You couldn't meet Peggy and not like her. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome and accepted. Over the years we laughed together, we cried together and I am already missing her. When I went to bed of would think of Peg wondering how she was feeling, was she comfortable, was she in pain, would tomorrow be a better day? Well now she is in heaven where there is no pain. I hope she is telling jokes and has maybe even met Elvis by now. No doubt her beloved Charlie was waiting with open arms. I know she didn't want to leave her family but she will be watching over you and sending her love. Peggy was my friend and her memory will live in my heart.

Peggy enriched my life so very much; she was NOT as old as her chronical age, she was a dynamo LADY sharing knowledge, love & at times a good joke, she’s marvelous! Her grandson & her daughter Ruth have quite a few of Pegs attributes so Peg lives on. What a GREAT LADY. Our prayers and love are with all involved. The McCauley family
