Obituary of John Longendorfer
John Longendorfer, 90, of Milford, PA passed away on March 16, 2021 at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA. He was the founder of the Golden Fish Gallery, Milford, PA and a proud United States Air Force Veteran, having served in the Korean War.
John was an award-winning artist having won the Chelsea Award for Science Fiction and Fantasy Art. He was a former member of the Philadelphia Sketch Club, the oldest art club in America, a member of the Port Jervis Masonic Lodge and the American Legion in Milford.
The son of the late John Earl and Mildred (Selke) Longendorfer, he was born on April 1, 1930 in Camden, NJ. He was married to Lillian (Hynes) Longendorfer, DO.
John leaves behind his wife, Lillian Longendorfer, DO and son, Edwin C. Longendorfer.
Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W. Harford St., Milford, PA Monday, March 22, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Due to the COVID-19 state guidelines only 15 guests will be allowed in at a time.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home 10 AM on Tuesday, March 23, 2021.
Burial will be at Milford Cemetery, Dingman Twp., PA.
