It’s not everyday, someone special comes into your life, as my cousin, Patty did. Patty and I lost contact growing up and we’re reunited a few years back. From the first time I had heard her voice, until we actually met, it was a warm and loving reunion. We spoke frequently on the phone and shared stories of our childhood and stories of our grandmother. She and I would end our calls with “ I love you! and I love you too”. I’ll forever love Patty and will miss her always. I truly thanked her for sharing her life with me. Our deepest of condolences for the entire family. May God’s healing hands guide you in the days ahead . Patty Rest In Peace “Sweetie”.

Although I never met Mrs. Martin in person, I have followed her courageous battle over the past year through the stories, eyes, tears and dedication of her loving and devoted daughter, Liza. Mrs. Martin fought so hard to stay with her family and always had a fighting spirit as described by Liza. I am so sorry that I didn’t have the chance to personally share time with her but I feel like I really had the opportunity to know a strong woman who battled to the end. Her family should find comfort in doing everything they could to support her and love her for every moment.
