I remember your dad as a quiet guy with an easy smile. We would talk sometimes as we waited for the parade to start. He leaves behind some great kids and grandkids, and of course, your mom. I’m sure he was immensely proud of his loving family. I’m so sorry for your loss.

I light a green candle because of Ainstein comments when he was visiting us in Lido Beach. It was a family party and I was making steak sandwiches. I had marinated flank steak with soy sauce etc and cilantro. He was very concerned that the green stuff was going to ruin the steak. I will miss his big hugs and the way he always made you feel like you were the most important person in the room. Condolences to all. He was always a kind and gentle man and he leaves such a wonderful legacy in his special children and grandchildren. Lloyd and I are so sorry for your loss but may you be comforted in knowing that after such a struggle the last few years with health issues that he is at peace and back to being that strong Norwegian that we all knew.
