Hi, I was wondering about John for quite some time as I had not seen his advertising for quite some time in Numismatic news. Many years ago I lived in Weehawken NJ. I bought rolls of Lincoln cents from him and I would sell singles of those coins in Numismatic news. At one point he trusted me enough to lend me a full bag of 1958 cents he had acquired for me to go through to maybe buy rolls from that bag. I did. Lotsa fun for a young quasi dealer. I even drove all the way to his house to meet him and exchange rolls. That was over 35 years ago. BTW I still have many of those rolls all the way back to 1934 :o)

John was a wonderful man. Come petition time he would work incredibly hard for the candidates he supported. He would work for hours at headquarters pre-election.
