John Francis Harney III, 79, of Milford, PA passed away on October 21, 2020 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. He was a Firefighter for the New Rochelle Fire Department, New Rochelle, NY and a proud United States Navy Veteran. The son of the late John Francis and Eleanore (Hedeman) Harney II, he was born on February 2, 1941 in Bronx, NY. He was married to Nancy Dahms. John leaves behind his wife, Nancy Harney; son, John Francis Harney IV of Fuquay Varina, NC; daughter, Christina Pelletier of Uxbridge, MA; brothers, Brian Harney, Christopher Harney and Peter Harney and four grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Harney. Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W. Harford St., Milford, PA on Sunday, October 25, 2020 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9 AM on Monday, October 26, 2020 at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 101 St Vincent Dr., Milford, PA 18337 with Reverend John B. Boyle officiating.
