I am shocked and saddened. I knew Jack for over fifty years. We worked together in the Bronx for the phone company. One day we were on a job together and were unhappy with the company. He then told me he was thinking of taking the test for the FD and convinced me to take it with him. We both were appointed at the same time and continued to work together doing phone work when we were off duty. There isn’t enough space for me to relate all the stories we shared together. He loved hunting, and above all, he loved and adored his family. We lost touch when he retired and moved to PA. I will always remember him for that chapter in my life. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family and loved ones. Rest In Peace Jack.
