Joseph Ciannella, 69 of Scranton, PA passed away, Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Sacred Heart Hospice, Dunmore, Pa. He was a great History Teacher for Boys & Girls School, Brooklyn, NY and Morris High School, Bronx, NY. He was a member of the St. John Neumann/Good Shepherd Knights of Columbus Council # 12571, Lords Valley, PA and an amazing guitarist. The son of the late Francis and Phyllis (Panzuto) Ciannella he was born October 13, 1950 in Brooklyn, NY. Joseph leaves behind his son Frank Ciannella and his wife Rebekah; daughter Catherine Jacobs; grandchildren Noah, Emma, Lucas; two sisters Camille Grey and Susan Laino and several nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, PA on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 from 6 to 8 PM.
