William O. Carpenter, 79 of Shohola, Pa passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. He was a retired factory worker for Elmhurst Dairy, Jamaica, NY. William was an avid hunter and a member of the National Rifle Association. The son of the late Jesse and Johnnie Grace (Hunter) Carpenter he was born December 20, 1940 in Boynton, OK. He was married to Patricia (Kubik) Carpenter on June 28, 1975 in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. William leaves behind his wife Patricia; son Jesse Carpenter and his Fiancé Sandy Scoble; two daughters Lori Gilham and her husband Matt, Krista Demeny; seven grandchildren, Ariana and Mark VanSpronsen, Kiley Gilham, Kelsey Gilham, Makayla Lynn Carpenter, Natalie Marie, Addison Elizabeth, Kodi Drew; and sister Avo Guerino. He was predeceased by his sister Betty Lou. Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, PA on Friday, March 13, 2020 from 12 to 2 PM.
