Obituary of Johnny Michael Galasso

Johnny Michael Galasso, 85, of Milford, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on January 2, 2025, surrounded by his devoted family. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, Johnny touched countless lives with his warmth, wisdom, and boundless spirit.

Born on October 30, 1939, in Plainfield, New Jersey, Johnny was the son of the late Carmen and Tessie (Natale) Galasso and brothers Billy & Tommy Galasso. A proud graduate of Plainfield High School, Johnny married his high school sweetheart, Patricia (Toresco) Galasso. Their union of 64 years was a testament to enduring love, partnership, and devotion.

Johnny was a true self-made entrepreneur and a man of many talents. He built a remarkable career as the owner of Country World Realty in Milford, Pennsylvania, where he was a licensed land developer and real estate professional. Over the years, Johnny also worked as a car salesman, dealership owner, and steadfast businessman, earning the respect of his peers and clients alike.

In his personal life, Johnny’s passions were as expansive as his achievements. A seasoned big game hunter, his adventures took him to Africa, British Columbia, Alaska, and beyond. As a Level 1 Sporting Clay Instructor recognized by the National Sporting Clays Association and a proud lifetime member of the NRA, Johnny found great joy in sharing his skills and enthusiasm for hunting, fishing and shooting. Whether boating, fishing, or enjoying classic Westerns featuring his favorite actors, John Wayne and Clint Eastwood, Johnny embraced life with energy and zeal.

Above all, Johnny cherished his family. Left to honor his memory are his loving wife, Patricia; his devoted daughters, Cynthia and Robyn; and his adoring grandchildren: Jonathan, Christopher, Joseph, Danielle, Nicholas, Michael and Anthony. He was also the proud great-grandfather to eight great-grandchildren and the beloved brother of Jerry Galasso. Johnny’s family was his greatest pride, and his legacy of love and perseverance lives on in them.
