Obituary of James T. Logan
It is with great sorrow the family of James T. Logan announce his passing on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice Home, Fredon, NJ.
The son of the late James C. and Marion Logan (Beamenderfer) he was born on July 17, 1944, in Queens, NY.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Barbara (Ragusa); children, Adrienne (John), Travis and Jarrod (Michelle); grandchildren, Cody McCarthy, Kaitlyn Logan and Kristina Logan; sisters, Barbara Graef (John) and Virginia Rohr (Ron); brother-in-law, Louis Ragusa (Louise), as well as a host of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and sister Maryann (Finnegan, Cloutier).
Jim and Barbara have been together for 65 years, celebrating their 59th wedding anniversary this past September.
James was a co-owner of Conroy & Logan Plumbing & Heating Contractors in New Milford, NJ, for approximately 12 years before starting James T. Logan Plumbing & Heating in Ramsey, NJ. He also worked for Countryside Plumbing & Heating in Hillsdale, NJ.
He had a passion for the preservation of history and was a member of the Westfall Historical Society and the Nockamixon Historical Society in Bucks County, PA, where he and Barbara resided for 23 years on their farm with his beloved horses, cats & dog.
He will be remembered as a loving and devout husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Friends will call at the Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford Street, Milford, PA on Monday, December 2, 2024, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Graveside services will be held at 12 PM on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at the Maryrest Cemetery, 770 Darlington Ave, Mahwah, NJ, all are asked to meet at the cemetery office in order to process to the graveside.
