Rosetta Carroll, 82 of Hawley, Pa, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, PA. She was a retired unit secretary at Winthrop Hospital in Mineola, NY. Rosetta loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and truly adored her dog, Coconut.

The daughter of the late Nicholas and Irmgard (Weiss) Lotito, Rosetta was born June 13, 1942 in Astoria, Queens, NY. She is predeceased by her husband Thomas Carroll who passed away February 20, 2021, and her brother Rudolph Lotito.

Rosetta is survived by her children, Donna Carroll of Hawley PA, Thomas V. Carroll and his wife Barbara of Holtsville NY, Deborah Marra and her husband Anthony of Hawley PA; and brother Jackie Lotito and his wife Alma of Kingwood, TX.

Rosetta, fondly known as “Nanny”, leaves behind a legacy of love through her five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren: Stephen Stilianos and his wife Cheryl, along with their son Nathan; Nicholas Stilianos; Shannon Geraghty; Sean Carroll; Jessica Marra and her daughter Josephine Rose.

A graveside service will be held for Rosetta on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 11 AM at Maple Grove Cemetery located at 127-15 Kew Gardens Rd, Kew Gardens, NY 11415 with Rev. Gesson Agenes officiating.
