William Giannini

Obituary of William G. Giannini

William G. Giannini, 84, of Milford, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Newton Medical Center in Newton, NJ. A proud entrepreneur, William dedicated himself to building and operating his own cable company. He had a deep love for riding motorcycles, often with country music playing loudly, and he cherished his antique car collection, a reflection of his passion for all things classic. In his quieter moments, he enjoyed watching classic Westerns.

Above all, William was a devoted family man whose kindness and willingness to lend a hand made a lasting impact on those around him. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Born on June 10, 1940, in Flushing, NY, William was the son of the late Claire L. and Johanna (Ford) Giannini. He married the love of his life, Ann Block, in 1961 in Queens, NY.

William Giannini was predeceased by his beloved wife, Ann, and their son, Richard. He is survived by his sons: William Giannini and his wife Lorri of Milford, PA; George Giannini and his wife Leslie of Conway, SC; and James Giannini and his wife Barbara of Milford, PA; daughter-in-law Donna Giannini (Richard Giannini) of Dingmans Ferry, PA.

William, fondly known as "Poppy," leaves behind a legacy of love through his 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren: Crystal Giannini and her husband Kyle Mihalik, along with their daughter Mia; Maria Giannini and her husband Stefanos Lenas, and their daughter Ariadne; Brooke Giannini and her husband Jonathan Swift, and their children Savanna, Brianna, Daniel, and Jonathan Jr.; David Giannini and his wife Jackie, and their sons Connor, Ryan, and Rocco; Barbara McIntyre and her husband Anthony, and their daughter Charlotte; Ann Giannini; and James Giannini Jr. and his wife Lisa, along with their son Vincenzo. He is also survived by his loving sisters, Johanna Rippe and Rosemary Gress.

Cremation will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Instead of a traditional funeral, we will gather for a Celebration of Life to honor William's memory on October 10th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Tom Quick Inn, Milford, PA.
