Obituary of Jean M Flittner

Jean Martha Flittner, 88, of Dingmans Ferry, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, September 12, 2024.  She was born on December 4, 1935 in Elizabeth, NJ.  Jean had previously resided in Milford, PA with her late husband, Walter. 

She attended nursing school and received her degree as a registered nurse in 1957.  She was Head Nurse at Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pompton Plains, NJ, before going into long term nursing.  She retired from Milford Senior Care.  

She spent some of her free time volunteering at the Pike County Public Library and had a love of cross stitching and reading.  She always enjoyed a good time and family get-togethers.

Jean leaves behind her beloved children; Susan and her husband, Rudolph Kieselat, Paul Flittner, Lorraine and her husband, Jim Willever, Margaret-Mary and her husband, Scott Donten, and Barbara and her husband, Sean McElroy; brother, Robert Brede and his wife, Ellen; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren, all of whom she adored.  She will be missed by all.

 A private memorial will be held.
