Obituary of Gilbert Charles Schulman
Gilbert Charles Schulman, 77, passed away on August 18, 2024, in Livingston, NJ. Born on July 23, 1947, in Brooklyn, NY, Gilbert was a man whose life was marked by his profound love for people and his desire to give generously.
Gilbert graduated from The Carteret School before pursuing higher education at Memphis State. His professional journey began in investment banking which ultimately paved the way for his entrepreneurial ventures, including a successful career as a concrete contractor in the NYC metropolitan area, where he was well-respected for his work ethic and innovation.
Beyond his professional life, Gilbert was a family man deeply cherished by his loved ones. He is survived by his wife, Marsha, their five children - Kevin Schulman, Debra Anchel, Lauri Schulman, Jenny Schulman, and Diana Schulman; his two grandchildren, Evan Crow, Lily Crow, his sister Ronnie Schwimmer and her three children Linda, Jeff and Larry along with their families.
Gilbert's legacy is not only in his professional achievements but also in the countless lives he touched with his generosity and loving nature. He will be remembered as a pillar of his community, a devoted family man, and a true friend to many. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him.
Graveside services will be held at Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township, PA on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 1:30 PM. Shiva will follow at Jenny’s home in Livingston, NJ.
