Knowing Joe from the Sixth Cav Reenactment Group, I came to know his quick wit, and great sense of humor. His ability as a craftsman and builder became quickly evident when he built quite a few of us, foot locker’s for our gear.
He immediately volunteered to make display drawers, (that would fit inside the foot lockers) for me allowing me to share many detailed WWII artifacts at our events in drawers under plexiglas.
He was always willing to help and
he offered to help me when I had a serious repair I needed to do to my house in Brick, NJ.
Joe’s knowledge and skills were remarkable and I will forever be grateful for having him as a friend, colleague and fellow history buff…I know his family will struggle with this loss, and I hope and pray they can find peace in this most difficult time. You have my condolences and prayers!
R.I.P. Sgt Joe!
