Obituary of Grace Jacobs

Grace Jacobs, age 67, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 9, 2024, at Garnett Health Medical Center, Middletown, New York. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Grace was a dedicated home health aide who cared deeply for her patients and brought comfort and joy to those in need.

Grace was known for her love of nature and spent many hours in her garden, hunting, and identifying wild mushrooms. She was a talented artist and musician, playing the guitar with grace and skill. Grace was also a worship leader and active member of the Calvary Chapel, where she found solace and community.

In her free time, Grace enjoyed baking delicious treats for her loved ones and sharing her passion for the culinary arts. Her warm smile and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

The daughter of the late George and Theresa (Peterson) Molfetas, she was born on October 9, 1956, in Manhattan, New York and grew up in the Bronx, New York. She was married to Randy Jacobs.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted husband, Randy Jacobs; children, Chris Jacobs, Ruben Jacobs and Jessica (Jacobs) McHugh and her husband Joseph; grandson, Julius McHugh; sisters Anne (Molfetas) Wilcox and Nikki (Molfetas) Germakian as well as a large host of friends.

Grace Jacobs leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and creativity that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her. She will be forever remembered and cherished in the hearts of her family and friends. May she rest in peace.

A receiving of friends will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at the Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford Street, Milford, Pennsylvania from 10 to 11 AM.

Graveside services will follow 11:30 AM at the Milford Cemetery with Reverend Eddie Pinero officiating.
