Obituary of Linda Darlene Polizzi

Our loving mother and grandmother, Linda Darlene Polizzi, of Hemlock Farms, Lords Valley, Pennsylvania passed away on July 12,2024 at Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest Hospital. She was welcomed with open arms by her loving and devout husband Joseph Polizzi who predeceased her on June 20,2020. 

The daughter of the late John and Dorothy Hertlein, Linda was born on June 18,1947 at the Naval Hospital in Newport, Rhode Island. 

Linda was raised in Bellport Village, New York, she was the oldest of eight children. 

In 1991, she moved to Pennsylvania where before retiring she worked as an Administrative Assistant at Hemlock Farms Community Association. 

Linda enjoyed gardening, taking walks, shopping and going to lunch with friends, but above all her greatest  joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. 

Her positivity and outlook on life will be missed. Her strength and courage was an inspiration to all.

She leaves behind her loving family Robert Garbato and wife Michelle, Jami-Lin Sloan and husband Jesse their children Kiley and Ashley; Cindy Celona and husband Anthony their children Karissa, Kayla, and Anthony; and Melissa Garcia and  husband Gerry their children Michael, Andrew, Abigail, Alexander and Kristopher. 

Services will be held at Stroyan Funeral Home 405 West Hartford Street Milford, Pennsylvania 18337  from 3:00 to 7:00pm on Monday, July 15,2024 

Graveside services will be held at the Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, July 16,2024 at 10:30am
