My name is Melanie (Schields) Astarita. I worked for District Attorney Michael Weinstein in Pike County, PA, as his secretary. We have kept in touch on and off through the years. My sons and I live in Buffalo, Missouri, but on one of our trips home to visit our families in Shohola, PA, we went to the Milford Cemetary to visit our aunt and uncle's graves and also Luisa and Jesse's graves; a beautiful cemetary. I wish that I could attend the August 16th Memorial Service for Michael at the Court House in Milford, PA. Michael was great to work for, and of course there are memories through the years, but when I think back all those years ago about Michael, he made everyone comfortable with his smile and sense of humor (well, maybe not everyone when he was in the courtroom). My sincere condolences to his family. I know he will be missed. Melanie
