It is with great sorrow that the family of John E Conroy reports his passing on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Presbyterian Hospital in Hudson Valley, New York. He was 67 years old.

John proudly served his country in the Marine Corps from 1977 to 1980. There he earned a Sharpshooter Badge and gained a love for the craft and artistry of Armory, which he practiced in his free time.

He was an outdoorsman that had a passion for fishing and hunting. Above all, he loved his family.

The son of the late Edward C. and Lorraine (Kelly) Conroy, John was born on December 1, 1956, in Long Island, New York. He was married to Susan (Junemann) Conroy.

John is survived by his wife, Susan Conroy; children, Travis Eyerman and his wife Megan, Dana Bomba and her husband Joe and Kirsten Godfrey and her husband Erik; grandchildren, Colton, Alexis, Allie, Cora, Grayson, Joey, Conan and Autumn; sister, Barbara Giarratana and her husband Bill and brothers, Tim Conroy and Keith Conroy and his wife Rose.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Elizabeth.  

Friends may call at the Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford Street, Milford, Pennsylvania 18337 on Sunday, July 7, 2024, from 2 to 4 PM. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 4 PM with Reverend Keith Raser officiating.

Graveside services will be 11:30 AM on Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Pine Grove Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road, Matamoras, Pennsylvania 18336 with military honors.
