Obituary of Joan M. Lippert

On Friday, May 31, 2024, our dearest mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Joan M. Lippert, was greeted into Heaven by her Lord and Savior.

 

Before retirement, Joan worked as a Dictaphone Typist for Columbia Presbyterian.

 

She was a devout member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania.

 

The daughter of the late Oscar and Helen (Butler) Miller, Joan was born on February 8, 1932, in Queens, New York.

 

She was married to William R.  Lippert who preceded her in death on December 15, 2013.

 

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Karen Reno and her husband William, Garry Lippert and his wife Karen and Eric Lipper and his wife Mary; grandchildren, Dawn Lucas and her husband Robert, Pamela Reno-Ross and her husband Tod, Jaclyn Orasso and her husband Michael, Ashley Torres and her husband Daniel, Amanda Linke and her husband Michael, Travis Lippert and his wife Tiffany, Stephen Lippert, Caitlyn Lippert, and Nicole Lippert; thirteen great grandchildren, along with a host of friends.

 

A viewing will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024, from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM and Tuesday, June 4, 2024, from 2 to 4 PM at the Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford Street, Milford, Pennsylvania 18337.

 

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 4 PM with Reverend Niels Nielsen officiating.

 

Final interment will be at the Pine Lawn National Cemetery, Long Island, New York.
