Obituary of Kathy M Mackintosh

Kathy M. Mackintosh, a loving wife, elementary school teacher, and devoted member of her community, passed away on May 27, 2024, at Bon Secours Hospital, Port Jervis, NY.

She was born on July 23, 1947, in the Bronx, New York to William and Emily (Polowski) Kesper. Kathy dedicated her life to educating young minds and spent many years teaching at New Milford Elementary, New Milford, New Jersey.

 

She resided in Milford, PA, with her beloved husband, Richard Mackintosh. Kathy and Richard shared many wonderful memories together and supported each other throughout their lives.

 

In addition to her husband, Kathy is survived by her brother-in-law, Bruce Mackintosh, and his spouse BJ., several cousins, as well as a host of friends who were touched by her kindness and compassion.

 

Kathy was not only devoted to her family but also actively involved in her community. She was a  life member of the Tri-State Dog Obedience Club in Shohola, PA, where she shared her passion for training dogs. Kathy was also a founding life member of the Skyline Agility Club, Goshen, NY as well as First Dog Training Club, Northern, NJ.

 

She will be remembered for her unwavering love, her dedication to education, and her warm and caring nature. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

 

Friends may call at the Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford Street, Milford, PA  on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from 2 to 4 PM. Memorial services to celebrate Kathy's life will follow 4 PM at the funeral home with Reverend Paul Zorn officiating.
