John Vincent Burnham Obituary

John Vincent Burnham, 81, of Milford, PA, passed away in Oklahoma City, OK on December 28, 2023.


 


John served in the Navy from 1964-1966. After returning home, John worked as an accounting representative for A.T. & T., and then later became a health care provider for Progressive Health in Milford, PA. 


 


John was a dedicated and active member of St. Patrick’s Church. John loved gardening and bird watching, especially from his gardens in Milford.  He enjoyed traveling overseas and visited Ireland several times as well as several other countries, which he traveled mostly with his church and friends.


 


Son of the late John and Sarah (Ruske) Burnham, John was born on July 5, 1942, on Staten Island where his family raised eggs and chickens.  He is predeceased by his brothers Roger and Robert, and his nephew Thomas.


 


John is survived by his nieces Margaret Burnham and Patricia Fowler, and his nephews Robert Burnham and John Burnham. 


 


A celebration of life for John will be held at St. Patrick’s Church (111 E. Catherine St. Milford, PA 18337) on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Milford Cemetery, Dingman Twp., PA.


 


Memorial donations may be made to St. Patrick's Church instead of flowers.
