My sincere condolences to the family of Georgie ( as my uncle and I called him). Georgie and my Uncle Norb were the perfect roommates for about two months at the Wilkes-Barre nursing home. I would visit two to three times a week and stay the whole day, so Georgie felt like family. He was such a kind hearted soul, always in good spirits and had the best stories to tell. He had talked about his life in Milford, working on vehicles, cutting grass and a trip to Ohio years ago. His imagination had us at a fishing camp right there in their room with a lake, fishing poles and canoe's to rent. Well this was right up my alley because I love fishing. My uncle had his own stories also, some true, some in his imagination. I had decorated their room for Easter and left Georgie with some "sugar free" peanut butter cups, that put a big smile on his face and couldn't thank me enough. Shortly after Easter, my uncle was rushed to the hospital and just recently passed away. I wanted to visit Georgie again to thank him and let him know how much he touched our heart's during my uncles final days and that he passed away but had more sad news that Georgie was gone too. Well now they are telling her other stories in heaven, God bless them both. Many prayers, Cindy
