Obituary of Jacqueline Torromeo

Jacqueline “Jane” Torromeo (nee Matheson) of Lords Valley, PA and formerly of West Orange, NJ passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at home. She was 96 ½.  The daughter of the late Mary Gates Summerford and Ronald McKenzie Matheson, she was born in Gerard, Alabama on September 30, 1927.

Jane was a member of the Church at Hemlock Farms, member of the Hemlock Library Board and a long time story hour volunteer for the Hemlock Farms Library.

She was the widow of Cresent A. Torromeo, mother of the late Ron Torromeo, and sister of the late Michael Matheson.

Jane is survived by her son Bruce Torromeo; daughter-in-law Felice Torromeo; grandchildren Michael, Ronnie, and Alex; sister Mary E. Case and her husband Dennis and several nieces and nephews.

Burial was private at the convenience of the family in Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township, PA.
