Gilda J. Loughran, a beloved and cherished soul, passed away on April 1, 2024, at Newton Memorial Hospital, Newton, New Jersey at the age of 78.

She was born on July 28, 1945, in the bustling city of New York, New York.

Gilda was known for her unwavering love for her family and friends. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Joseph F. Loughran.

When she was not working, you could find her enjoying the outdoors. Gilda took pride in her flower gardens and loved to hike the beautiful Pike County trails.

Gilda was preceded in death by her parents, John and Rose; and brothers Nicholas and Robert.

 Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Joseph Loughran; daughter, Rose Ann Gostischa (Michael); son, Peter Loughran (Christina); grandchildren, Ariel, Mariah, Bri, Nathan, Natalie, and Dylan; four great grandsons, Weston, Rhett, Noah, and Kameron; and sister, Anna Marie.

Cremation was private at the convenience of the family.
