Obituary of Frank A. Winters

Frank A. Winters, 92 of Matamoras, PA passed away, Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Middletown, NY. Frank honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1956. He went to work for the Erie Railroad as a Fireman and later attended Orange County Community College taking classes in television repair. He then opened and operated Winters TV Sales & Service, Matamoras, PA. Frank was a dedicated New York Giants Fan, avid reader of Civil War history, and loved gardening and building model railroads.

The son of the late Frank and Mary Winters he was born October 23, 1931 in Town of Deerpark, NY. Frank married Julia (Wirth) Winters in 1958.

Frank is survived by his wife Julia (Peggy); daughter Terri Winters; nieces and nephews Randall (Sharon) Senkiew, Gary Senkiew, Michelle VanHorn, Denise (Steven) Geiger and cousin Mary Jane Simpson and several great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Jack Winters and sister Frances Senkiew.

Calling hours will be held at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, PA on Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 2 to 3:30 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 3:30 PM.
