It is with great sadness that the family of Melissa Ann Jorgenson reports her passing on Monday, March 18, 2024, at home. She was forty-eight years old.

Melissa was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend.

The daughter of Vincent and Margaret (Heisler) Sinkevitch, she was born February 25, 1976, in Brooklyn, New York.

Melissa had a passion for helping her community, which she proudly demonstrated through her work as a Case Manager for Pathways Community Services.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Vincent, and Margaret Sinkevitch; husband, Christopher Chacanias; daughters, Rebecca Jorgenson, Michaley Jorgenson and Mary Jorgenson and their father, Michael Jorgenson;  sister, Danielle Sullivan, and her husband Jay; brother, James Sinkevitch; several nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends.

 Friends are invited to the Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford Street, Milford, Pennsylvania for a viewing on Friday, March 22, 2024, from 2 to 7 PM. Funeral services will be held 5 PM at the funeral home.
