Obituary of Dianne Rickard

Dianne Rickard (née Larson), 77 of Lords Valley, PA passed away Friday March 1, 2024, at home surrounded by family and her most treasured pets including her dog (Sam) and 5 cats.

The daughter of the late Bror and Ruth Larson (née McGeown), she was born November 13, 1946, in Jersey City, NJ.

Dianne was an avid gardener and animal lover who enjoyed spending time reading books and going down the shore. She was a member of the New Jersey Mineralogical Society where she and her late husband collected minerals and rocks, and learned how to make jewelry, a hobby and skill she passed onto her daughter, Christina. Dianne worked as a secretary for a law firm and as a cast member at the Disney Store. She also spent time serving others by being an advocate for nursing homes in NJ.

Dianne is survived by her devoted daughter Christina Rickard of Elkins Park, PA; nephew Robert Larson Jr, his wife Jaby, grandnieces Katrina, Larissa, and grandnephew Robert III; great grandnephew Arjen Butkovich and great grandniece Kasmira Butkovich of Lake Hopatcong, NJ.

Proceeded in death by her husband of 35 years, William, her beloved son Brian, and her brother Robert B Larson.

A memorial will be privately held at the convenience of the family.
