Fredric Rothstein

Obituary of Fredric Alan Rothstein

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Fred Alan Rothstein, aged 78, on Thursday, February 22, 2024. Residing in Milford, Pennsylvania, Fred was a beacon of love, devotion, and kindness as a husband, father, brother, Grandfather and friend.

Fred’s life was marked by his honorable service in the United States Air Force, followed by a successful career as the Owner and President of The Brokerage Connection. Founded by Fred in 1991, the company thrived under his leadership as a comprehensive insurance brokerage firm.

A family man at his core, Fred’s world revolved around his family and grandchildren, always prioritizing their happiness. An enthusiast of the golf course, his drives were legendary, earning him the nickname "The Hammer." In addition to his love of all sports, Fred also found joy as the Captain of his cherished boat, the “Aft R All,” where he relished time spent on the water with loved ones, complemented by his favored vodka and clams on the deck following a cruise.

Born to Sidney and Mary (Geller) Rothstein on November 28, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York, Fred’s journey led him to the love of his life, Lorelei (Kiel) Rothstein. Their true love saw them engaged after just nine days and married within three months, celebrating 53 years of unwavering love and companionship.

Fred's legacy lives on through his family: his wife, Lorelei; their children, Leslie Reeb (Rothstein) and her husband Danny, with their daughter Sydney; Eric Rothstein and his son Maxwell; Scott Rothstein and his wife Jess, along with their children Myles and Allie; and Fred’s sister, Harriet Reichenbach and her husband Eric.

A military honor and a celebration of Fred’s life will be planned for close friends and family at a later date. In remembrance of Fred and in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Tabby’s Place: A Cat Sanctuary, and/or the Wounded Warrior Project.
