Obituary of James T Murphy

Beloved husband, brother, uncle and friend, James T. Murphy, had passed away on February 6, 2024, at the Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, New York.

The son of the late James and Virginia (Hayhow) Murphy, James was born on September 6, 1958, in Queens, New York. James was married to Susan (Reding) Murphy.

James was a proud Untied States Navy Veteran, having served from 1979 to 1981.

He was a member of the Marsh-Kellogg American Legion Post 139, Milford, Pennsylvania.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Susan Murphy; brother, Michael Murphy, and his wife Andrea; sister, Cathy Festagallo, and her husband Lou as well as many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be at the Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford Street, Milford, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from 11 AM to 1 PM.

Services will follow at the funeral home at 1 PM with Rev. John Boyle officiating.

Burial will be at the Delaware Cemetery, Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania with military honors.
