Obituary of Cecile S Weissang

Cecile S. Weissang, 86 of Milford, PA passed away Tuesday January 16, 2024, at the Milford Senior Care. She was born and raised in Milford, PA. In her young adult years, she was a resident and worked in Manhattan, NY, where she met and married her husband, Roger Weissang. Lived in New Jersey for many years and then came back to Milford, PA with her family to care for her father. During her time in New Jersey, Cecile spent her time as a homemaker, caring for her daughter.

Cecile loved to travel and did a lot of it during her young adult years. She enjoyed the sun and the views of the mountains, spending much of her time outside. She spent a lot of time reading, always had a New Yorker in hand. She loved spending time with friends and family.

Daughter of the late Julio and Marion (nee Herbst) Santos and granddaughter of the late Fred J. “Pop” Herbst and his wife Leanna Herbst. Born December 20, 1937, in Milford, PA.

Cecile is survived in life by her husband Roger and daughter Angelique Barker and husband, Bryan Barker; Grandson’s Mason Barker, Bryan Barker and his wife Makayla Terwilliger, Great-Grandson Robert Barker; Julio Santos her brother and his wife Dolly Santos, nephews, many generations of cousins and lifelong friends. She is predeceased by her brother Theodore Santos.

Cremation will be private at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford Twp., PA.

Burial will take place at a later date in Milford Cemetery, Milford, PA.
