Obituary of Douglas F. Fiducia

Douglas Frederick Fiducia, age 70, of Shohola, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at his home. He was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend.

The son of Salvatore Frederick Fiducia and Elvira (Ambrose) Fiducia, Douglas was born on May 22, 1953, in Newark, New Jersey.

Survived to cherish his memory are his children, Alexander Fiducia, Donna Davieau and Marta Byrne; grandchildren Liam Fiducia, Christopher (CJ) Byrne, Lyla Byrne, and Leo Davieau; and former spouse Christine Dendulk.

After his move to Pennsylvania after years in New Jersey as a trusted accountant, he took pride in actively continuing his accounting work for his dedicated clients.

Douglas will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was known to always have an interesting story to tell and especially loved telling them to his friends.

Douglas was an avid drawer, carpenter, and reader. It was not uncommon for him to give his adored grandchildren homemade wooden toys, books, and illustrations.

Per Douglas’ wishes to the family, Cremation and services were private.
