Obituary of Catherine Schouppe

Catherine “Cathi” Schouppe, 75, of Milford, PA, passed away at home on December 25, 2023. 

The daughter of the late Michael and Caroline (Romyns) Feilon, she was born June 3, 1948 in Sussex, NJ. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Schouppe; sister, Rosemary (Feilon) Wardle; brother, William Feilon and nephew Robert “Cory” Phillips III .

Catherine is survived by her daughter, Lindsay Masker and her husband Levi of Newfoundland, PA; sister, Susan Zeigler and her husband George of Mansfield, OH; brother, Michael Feilon and his wife Alice of Lexington OH; sister-in-law, Carol (Schouppe) Phillips and her husband Robert of Shohola, PA; many cherished aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends, and her beloved dog, Penny and three cats.

Catherine owned Schouppe’s Antiques in Milford, PA for over thirty years.  She was a member of the Audubon Society.  She loved all animals, especially her many dogs and cats that she rescued over the years.  Catherine enjoyed baking and making tricky tray baskets for the Pike County Humane Society.

Friends may call on the Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W. Harford St., Milford, PA 18337 on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 7-9 PM and Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 10-11 AM.

Funeral services will be held at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W. Harford St., Milford, PA 18337 on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 11 AM with Rev. Keith Raser officiating. Burial will follow at Milford Cemetery, Dingman Twp., Pennsylvania.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pike County Humane Society, 189 Lee Road, Shohola, PA 18458, or Middletown Humane Society, 142 Bloomingburg Road, Middletown, NY 10940.
