Obituary of Pasquale C Santoro

Husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, cousin and friend, Pasquale C. Santoro entered the presence of the Lord on Sunday, December 24, 2023. He was eighty-four years old.

Pasquale was a devout Roman Catholic, having been a member of the Saint Ann’s Church, Shohola, Pennsylvania. He was a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council #12571, Lords Valley, Pennsylvania.

His focus and passion in life was showing his love and giving support to all of his family and any friend in need. He brightened every room with his playful and good-natured humor. He made everyone’s life he touched better.

Pasquale was dedicated to educating young minds through his work as an adjunct faculty member at Seton Hall University, South Orange, New Jersey and Associate Professor at County College of Morris in Randolph, New Jersey.

After his retirement as a School Psychologist, Pasquale volunteered as a counselor at the Waymart Correctional Facility, Waymart, Pennsylvania for seventeen years.

The son of the late John and Anna (Badac) Santoro, Pasquale was born on May 22, 1939, in Newark, New Jersey. He was married to Arlene (Tarascio) Santoro on August 27, 1961.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Arlene Santoro; daughters, Lauren Santoro (David Laird) and Christine Kuznar (Lawrence); son, Matthew Santoro (Tara); grandchildren, Austin (Kaylee), Garrett (Christina), Shannon, Eric (Maddie), Jillian and Dominic; great-grandchildren, Landon and Everett and cousins, Joseph Badac (Elaine), James Badac (Rose Mary) and Jeffrey Badac (Maria).

Friends may call at the Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford Street, Milford, Pennsylvania on Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 1 to 3 PM and 5 to 7 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM on Friday, December 29, 2023, at the Saint Ann’s Church, 125 Richardson Ave, Shohola, Pennsylvania with  Rev. Edward Casey officiating.

Cremation will follow at the convenience of the family at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford, Pennsylvania.

Pasquale will be interred at Saint Ann’s Cemetery, Shohola, Pennsylvania at the convenience of his family.
